What caused Adolf Hitler to hate the Jews and bring up 'final solution?'
Preface:
If you search for holocaust in dictionary, you would see definition as "an event in which there is a lot of destruction and many people are killed, especially one caused by war (Collins Dictionary)." But you will often find other definition, which said it "is used to refer to the killing by the Nazis of millions of Jews during the Second World War (Collins Dictionary)." I raised a question: what caused Adolf Hitler to hate the Jews and bring up 'final solution?' I was interested of how one race can hate other race extremely and try to wipe them out from the globe. This wikispaces page will explain the causes of Hitler's anti-Semitism, which is having prejudice against Jewish people, and I hope my answers can prevent any rise of future Hitler and mass murder.
GENRE #1 Introduction
Genre #1 is a research paper, which is an informative writing. This writing will provide facts and details to answer the key question. This is written in third-person point of view, and more of an editorial writing. Research paper is free from any bias, and provide as specific details as possible. This genre helped me to answer the question because I could find hostorical and social atmosphere at that time, and relate them to Hitler's early life. Audiences will receive information about Hitler's early life, and the surroundings at the time after World War I.
Genre #1: Research Paper
History is the record of past events. Events are conducted by people, and it is why chronicle is often focused on major figures. One of the most interesting figures in human record would be Adolf Hitler, 1889-1945. It is curious how an Austrian-born boy would one day become the most recognized symbol of hatred that came inches away from runing the world. His anti-Semitism had dramatically developed by exterior conditions during his young age, before he was twenty-four.
Hitler began to have the sense of anti-Semitism when he was in Vienna, Austria. At that time, the party called Christian Social Party was popular in Vienna, led by Karl Lueger. Lueger “effectively used the prevalent anti-Semitic and German nationalist currents in Vienna to advance his political objectives (Karl Lueger Biography).” Anti-Semitism was popular at that time (1900s) because the Jews were considered as ‘foreigners.’ Even the Jews living in Austria were not Austrian citizens. People thought that the Jews were 'taking away' the money from the natives. Such discrimination and prejudices against the Jews were one of the social atmospheres of that period. These early interactions affected the way Hitler viewed the Jews.
His lack of education also contributed to his hatred against the Jews. It is told that Hitler “never advanced beyond a secondary education (Adolf Hitler Biography).” Education is not only for obtaining knowledge, but also includes learning to interact with the society. However, Hitler didn’t have enough social experiences, and couldn’t tolerate what he hated. Due to the lack of education, Hitler had loneliness, secretiveness, and hatred against cosmopolitanism, or being international. Again, Jews were considered as ‘foreigners’ at that time, and Hitler surely didn’t like the foreigners in his nation. The lack of proper education was important to shape Hitler's anti-Semitism.
Moreover, Social atmosphere at that time caused Hitler to hate the Jews. At that time, Germany lost World War I. Hitler had a military career of enlisting in Barbarian, or German army that time, receiving Iron Cross for his bravery (Adolf Hitler Biograrphy). After the war, Hitler blamed the German's defeat to the Jews and thought they should be removed from German territory. Moreover, Jews at that time had significant amount of wealth in Germany. Therefore, anti-Semitism was popular in Germany during that period. People at that time believed that exterminating Jews was the way to protect them. Hitler claimed that ‘I believe today that I am acting according to the will of the almighty creator: When I defend myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord (Hitler).’ Such social situations caused Hitler to dislike the Jew population.
In addition, excessive racial pride was another reason for Hitler’s anti-Semitism. He believed that “all the human culture, all the results of art, science and technology that we see before us today, are almost exclusively the creative product of the Aryan (Adolf Hitler).” Aryan refers to the white people from northern Europe, which was major portion of German population at that time. This belief made Hitler to dislike other races, and he especially hated the Jews because Jews claimed themselves as selected race by God. Hitler believed that Aryan was the greatest of all, and that Jews should be wiped out.
Conclusively, various interior and exterior factors in youth caused Hitler to exterminate the Jew population. This ethnic cleansing and his ‘final solution’ left millions of death Jews in less than ten years. Holocaust remains as one of the worst crime in human history ever. Such event should not occur in this era, and effective prevention is needed to stop possible future Hitler to practice this evil commitment. It is the world’s hope to ease the tensions between other races as possible.

GENRE #2 Introduction
To explore why Hitler hated the Jews, it is necessary to know Hitler’s emotions and thoughts. His quotations, mainly from Mein Kampf, will enable the readers to understand what caused Hitler to hate Jews, and how he thought about them. Though the quotations are personal, the explanation for those quotations are written in objective view. This genre helped me to explain the question because I could find Hitler's personal opinion about the Jews and connect to the researched information. Audiences who will read this genre would like to read the following quotations in Hitler's perspective.
Genre #2: Quotations
1. “The more the linguistic Babel corroded and disorganized parliament, the closer drew the inevitable hour of the disintegration of this Babylonian Empire, and with it the hour of freedom for my German-Austrian people (Hitler)."
Explanation: This quotation is reflecting his thought during his years in Vienna. In Vienna, he studied to get into the Vienna Academy of Fine arts. ‘Babel’ is an allusion to the Babel tower in the Old Testament, and he realizes that Vienna at that time (after WW1) is not stable. Babylonian Empire, in his quote, is not the empire established by Babylonian people, but rather a metaphor to Austrian empire. He considers Austrian empire as evil, and he predicts freedom of the people. However, he mentioned as ‘my’ German-Austrian people. This is significant that it shows his extreme patriotism, and perhaps racism for his nation and people. This quotation showed Hitler’s pride and his hatred against Austria that time. But his hatred against the Jews is not developed yet.
2. “I was not in agreement with the sharp anti-Semitic tone, but from time to time I read arguments which gave me some food for thought. At all events, these occasions slowly made me acquainted with the man and the movement, which in those days guided Vienna's destinies: Dr. Karl Luegar and the Christian Social Party (Hitler).”
Explanation: A. Karl Luegar, 1844-1910, was the leader of Christian Social Party and was popular in Vienna by his anti-Semitistic ideology. Hitler tells that he starts to agree with Karl Luegar, and develops his early stage for anti-Semitism. Hitler’s comment, “gave me food for thought (Hitler),” reveals that he began to ponder about the origin of his miseries, and starts to agree with Luegar’s opinion; blame the miseries to the Jews.
3. “Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord (Hitler).”
Explanation: By this quotation, it can be said that Hitler is in progress of metamorphosis. He justifies his anti-Semitism by mentioning the will of God. It is interesting how he thinks anti-Semitism is what God wants. According to Hitler’s quote, Almighty Creator refers to Christian God, and Christian God actually favors the Jews in the Bible. Hitler would have written this in order to promote further anti-Semitism to the readers. Notice how he wrote defending himself against the Jew. He wrote as if the Jews are abusing him and German people. Ironically, his ‘defending himself’ became exterminating all Jew population from the globe.
4. “…the personification of the devil as the symbol of all evil assumes the living shape of the Jew (Hilter).”
Explanation: Metamorphosis complete, Hitler argues that Jews are personified devils. He believes that he is a knight of the God, and has to destroy the evil, or the Jews. From this, there is an interesting connection to Grendel by John Gardner. In the novel, the Shaper defined Grendel as atrocious because he is descendant of Cain. For Hitler, he defines Jews as evil because they resemble devil. It is yet impossible to prove his reasoning, but for Hitler, Jews are the obstacles of the humanity, and he is furious about them. His goal in life was to exterminate all Jew population.
The third genre will be a song. But this song is very unique that it is in Hitler's point of view. If Hitler was to compose a song, the song below will be what he would have sang. This song was intended to reflect Hitler's idea, and retell the incidents in his perspective. This idea was from John Gardner's Grendel, which told the epic story of Beowulf in monster's point of view. This piece of lyrical song will illustrate the history in Hitler's point of view, and show how Hitler would provoke the people by different mean. This genre was helpful to answer the key question because I was able to make an atempt to be in Hitler's perspective, and summarize the answer to lyrics.
*Disclaimer: This song has anti-Semitism and some violent languages. I claim that I do not have any sense of anti-Semitism, and that this song is totally in Hitler's point of view, not my view. This song's purpose is not to criticize the Jews, but potrait Hitler's hatred in radical manner. I hope there is no misunderstanding concerning about racism and violence.
This song includes transcription of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and coda of Islamey by Mily Balakirev at the ending. I show acknowledgement prior of presenting this genre.
I also apologize for poor singing ability. Please consider that I am a poor singer.
If you cannot bear the voice, please use the lower media, which is the song without vocal.

Epilogue
It was a joy to do this project and try to answer my key question. I learned that how the social atmosphere can shape one person's view. Moreover, I also observed that shortage of proper education can be damaging for future life. Prior of this project, I simply viewed Hitler as a psycho. However, after doing this project, I could understand why Hitler developed such hatred. Nevertheless, I do not agree with Hitler's point of view, and think it is not right to slaughter a particular race in such extreme number. I hope people to learn how prejudice advance, and learn to prevent the rise of future Hitler who may cause a number of death. I firmly believe that this chaos should not repeat in this modern era.
